Kiran Sangha, PsyD (cand.), RCC
Kiran Sangha is a Registered Clinical Counsellor in British Columbia, Canada. She has over 15 years of experience supporting children, adults, and older adults from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.
She is known for her warm, engaging, and transparent approach that helps clients feel at ease and supported from the very first session. Kiran is passionate about helping individuals overcome life’s challenges—including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship struggles, and the impacts of immigration and cultural identity. Her work is guided by trauma-informed and evidence-based practices and rooted in deep respect for the unique lived experiences of each person and their heritage.
When she’s not working with clients, Kiran is completing her Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology and spending time with her children and family.
Kiran offers individual counselling for children, adults, and older adults navigating a range of emotional and psychological concerns.
Areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, injury, grief and loss, interpersonal and family challenges, and cultural or immigration-related stress.
Kiran tailors her approach to each client’s unique needs, drawing from evidence-based and trauma-informed modalities such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and the Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competency (ARC) framework.
Clients funded through WorkSafeBC, ICBC, WorkBC, and the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) are warmly welcomed.
In addition to counselling, Kiran offers culturally informed consultation to both emerging and experienced mental health professionals. Her services emphasize culturally responsive care, anti-oppressive practice, trauma-informed case conceptualization, and reflective supervision. Whether seeking support with complex cases or enhancing cultural competence, clinicians can expect a collaborative and respectful space for professional growth.
